Scottish Festival & Celtic Gathering Sights

In contast to rain which fell upon last year's Scottish Festival & Celtic Gathering, this year's event featured clear blue skies. It was the perfect backdrop for marching pipe and drum bands, sheep herding demonstrations, Highland dancing and an array of other cultural-based activities. Children in attendance visited various clans, receiving a check on their "passports" for their stops. Heavy athletic games went on without a hitch and fun competitions such as the bonnie knees contest and haggis hurl brought to life traditional Scottish folklore.
