BHS Alumni and Friends Foundation Welcomed Two New Members to the Board in January

In January, the Bridgeport High School Alumni and Friend’s Foundation welcomed two new members to their board, Carlton “Sonny” 
Hoskinson Jr. and Caryl Linger Trippett.
 
Carlton “Sonny” Hoskinson Jr is a 1981 Bridgeport High School alum. After high school, he attended West Virginia University and obtained B.S. degree in Pharmacy in 1986. He has worked at United Hospital Center for 31 years and is currently the Assistant Director of Pharmacy and has been the Director of Camp Catch Your Breath for 24 years.
 
Hoskinson lives in Bridgeport with his wife, Diana. He has two children, Kelsey, who lives in Morgantown with her husband, Lunden, and Logan, who lives in Bridgeport with his wife, Kalee. He has one granddaughter, Aela Ryan.
 
“I am excited to be a part of this board because of how much Bridgeport High School has meant to me and my family,” said Hoskinson.  “My father, Carlton Sr., myself and both my children attended BHS, so we have developed a long-standing commitment and dedication to BHS academics and sports. It’s a pleasure and a privilege to serve our school and our community that continually set the highest standards for our future leaders.”
 
Caryl Linger Trippett is a 1978 Bridgeport High School graduate. After attending BHS she went on to graduate from Fairmont State University where she obtained a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology in 1980. She is currently putting her degree to good use as a Medical Laboratory Technician at United Hospital Center.
 
Trippett is living in Bridgeport with her husband and fellow BHS grad, Mark. They have two children together, both BHS graduates. There eldest, Ashley, who married Chad Montgomery, a 1993 BHS graduate, and their youngest, Justin and his wife Ashley, a 2006 BHS grad. She is pleased to be welcoming her first grand-child in June.
 
“I am honored to be an Alumni Board member that gives back to the community,” said Trippett.
