Each day this week, the Bridgeport High School Marching Band has been hard at work, learning the 2017 field show to be performed at Indian football games.

Titled "Land of the Free," the show features patriotic tunes and encompasses solos, precision moves and even some historical facts.

Director of the "Pride Behind the Tribe" Marching Band is Chris Hayslette with BHS senior Joplin Kehrer serving as drum major for the 2017-2018 school year.

Band camp was held daily on the grounds of BHS and in the high school band room.

The band will give the community a sneek peak of its football halftime show 7 p.m. Friday at Wayne Jamison Field. The public is invited to come our and support the band and gear up for Friday night football. The Tribe's first home game is Sept. 1 as BHS faces Wheeling Park.
