By Dick Duez on July 16, 2017 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

For more than a decade, as both an assistant and head coach, BHS Coach Josh Nicewarner has attended ceremonies where his players have signed to play in college. This is from 2001 when Nicewarner signed to play football with Fairmont State. He is shown in the middle surrounded by his father Phil and mother Ann. Back row, from left, is Coach Bruce Carey, then assistant Principal Mark DeFazio, Principal Lindy Bennett, sssistant Coach John Cole, the late BHS athletic director Larry Burner is behind Cole, and assistant football Coach Robert Shields is to the far right. Photo provided by BHS Journalism Department and was taken by student Derek Maxey.
This decades-old photo shows the Clarksburg Elks building that was situated on Pike Street in downtown Clarksburg. It was a mainstay for years until fire destroyed it in the last 1990s.
