This week’s City Face is long-time Bridgeport resident Louis Aragona. Please take a moment to meet my friend Lou:
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Lou has lived in Bridgeport twenty three years. He is a 1975 Shinnston High School graduate. He obtained his B.S. degree in psychology from Fairmont State Univeristy.
Where are you originally from? Shinnston, WV
Are you married? Yes, to Tammy Bork Aragona. Tammy is a 1984 Liberty High School graduate and she obtained her B.S. in education from WVU. Tammy and Lou were married in 1992 at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church.
Children? Two boys - Louis Anthony III, 21, is a 2012 BHS graduate and Nicholas, 19, is a 2014 graduate. Both boys are students at Fairmont State University.
What is your favorite color? Black
Where do you work? Executive Director, Clarksburg-Harrison Regional Housing Authority
Favorite Bridgeport spot? Home
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Charleston
Favorite place outside of WV? PNC Park, New York City and Jamaica
Favorite restaurant? Julio’s
Best childhood memory? Hishouse was always filled with family.
Favorite musical group? The Beatles, among many others, are his favorites.
Pets? Golden Doodle named Wilson (sort of a Grandpuppy)
Hobbies? Watching sports, going to the gym and cooking are a few of his hobbies. He also enjoys coaching Bridgeport Jerry West Basketball.
Interesting fact about you? Lou once owned a restaurant in November of 1985. In hindsight, he said he should have named it the Underwater Café.
