City Faces in Different Places

By Hannah Edwards on July 02, 2017 from City Faces via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Take a quick minute to get acquainted with this week’s City Face, Steven Show, sponsored by Higinbotham & Higinbotham, PLLC.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport?  Steven was born and raised in Bridgeport, attending BHS and then WVU for Exercise Physiology. He briefly lived in Daytona Beach, FL while he was attending Palmer Chiropractic College. He just moved back home in December!

Where are you originally from? Bridgeport

Are you married? No

Children?  No

What is your favorite color?  Lime Green

Where do you work? He works at Enliven Chiropractic on Main Street as a chiropractor. He is glad to be able to help his neighbors live healthier and happier lives! He works a lot with patients that have suffered concussions and try to spread the word that seeking treatment is important!

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Main Street. Particularly on Main street Mondays because they let you see some of the history of Bridgeport and made him realize how many locally owned places we have here. He says there are always some fun things to do and a lot of people to meet.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?  Audra State Park is relaxing. Steven says there are some pretty cool trails and he always enjoy being next to the water.

Favorite place outside of WV?  Youghiogheny Lake near Markleysburg, PA. His family has been going up there to boat since his grandparents first met. Water-skiing is a rite of passage in his family!

Favorite restaurant? While this a tough choice for Steven he says it’s Muriale’s; it was rough trying to find good Italian food down in Florida.

Best childhood memory?  “Now that I am a little older, I can really appreciate looking back on those summer nights as a kid where my group of friends and I would ride our bikes around town from dawn till dusk and just explore. We didn’t have a care in the world and just had to make it home when the streetlights turned on.”
Favorite musical group?  Johnny Cash for sure. Songs that tell stories are his favorite, and you can’t go wrong with A Boy Named Sue.

Pets?  Steven is currently trying to convince the office to get a therapy dog.

Hobbies?  Steven loves water-skiing, weight-lifting, and anything sci-fi. He doesn’t really follow any sports but if you have a question about Batman, he’s your guy.

Interesting fact about you? “My parents and my sister are all accountants- I’m the oddball of the group but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Numbers are not my thing.”
