City Faces in Different Places

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? I have lived in Bridgeport for eight years.
Where are you originally from? I grew up in Clarksburg. I have lived in Morgantown, Martinsburg, and Wilmington, Delaware.
Are you married? I am married to Chris Denson. We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We met at WVU and have been cheering on the Mountaineers together ever since.
Children? We have four crazy kids and one scrappy dog.
What is your favorite color? Purple. It’s even in my hair.
Where do you work? I’m a writer and a mom so I work everywhere, 24/7. Shameless plug, my first novel, Future FLOTUS?, was published

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Bridgeport City Park
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Driving down any country road in the fall.
Favorite place outside of WV? Philadelphia. My husband grew up there and we lived outside of Philly while he was in law school. We love to take the kids to see the sights and eat at our favorite spots.
Favorite restaurant? Mia Margarita!
Best childhood memory? Sundays after church at my Nunnie’s house in North View. Playing outside with cousins, amazing food, and lots of laughter.
Favorite musical group? Dave Matthews Band. This will definitely date me, but I actually saw them play live at Sigma Chi Derby Days in Morgantown.
Pets? Do deer in the backyard count?
Hobbies? Drinking coffee, baking with my kids, spending time with family and friends.
Interesting fact about you? I am obsessed with classic movies. I love the Thin Man Series, musicals, anything with Gene Kelley, Cary Grant, Irene Dunne, or Spencer/Tracy films.
