Once again, the Bridgeport High School Alumni Band will be part of Bridgeport Homecoming festivities, including the 6:30 p.m. Wed., Sept. 13 parade and the 7:30 p.m. Fri., Sept. 15 BHS vs. Fairmont Senior football game at Wayne Jamison Field.

All former members of the BHS Marching Band are encouraged to participate, but drummers are especially needed. 

Those wishing to play with the band this year and who have questions or are in need of borrowing an instrument may text Hess at 304-290-2627 or call Beverly Atchison at 304-842-3099.

Drummers will be practicing at Hess's home on the evening of Tues., Sept. 12. 

There will also be a frontline – majorettes and color guard – marching with the band. Anyone wishing to join may contact Julie Perine at julie@connect-bridgeport.com.
