Several years ago, GFWC Woman's Club of Bridgeport raised funds for its community service work through the sale of red and white, Bridgeport-themed throws. Due to popular demand - and a growing Bridgeport community - the service organization is once again selling the item, featuring more buildings and landmarks than the previous project. In addition to the Bridgeport High School Indian head on all four corners, the design includes the Benedum Civic Center, the Bow Bridge and Covered Bridge, Bridgeport Public Library, Bridgeport Veterans Memorial, City Hall and all Bridgeport schools, as well as the "Opportunity Lives Here" logo. 

 

A limited amount of throws are available for purchase at $50 each. After those are purchased, the club will take orders for more, but the second shipment will not arrive before Christmas. The full price of the throw needs to be paid upon ordering.
