Following a nine-day walkout of Harrison County teachers and school personnel, it was business as usual today at public schools. Signs welcomed students back and expressed the educators' appreciation for support during the walkout; a statewide movement which resulted in an across-the-board five percent raise for all state employees, the formation of a PEIA task force and resolution of other issues. Teachers said they are thrilled to be back in the classroom. It seemed as if students were too. See a gallery of photos below.
