More than 20 area youngsters took part in the Bridgeport Parks and Recreation's first summer installment - Bridgeport CSI. During the five days kids were involved on various aspects of a crime scene from lifting fingerprints, looking at dental impressions, how to be a good eyewitness and more.
The hands-on program began Monday and continued through today. The goal is to have children think like scientists, gain a better understanding of science and develop an appreciation of science.
The camp took place at the Benedum Civic Center. As part of today's activities, students were treated to ice cream at the Main Street Dairy Queen.
