Photos: Second Annual Summer Kickoff Proves to be Another Success for City with Large Crowd on Hand

Hosted by the Associated Businesses of Bridgeport, the 2nd Annual Summer Kickoff and Food Truck Festival was held Saturday evening in downtown Bridgeport. Main Street was closed to traffic, but open to hundreds of area residents to walk along the streets, listen to live music by "80s Enough," sample the fare of nearly a dozen food vendors, play games and browse classic cars. The cruise-in was new to this year's kickoff. Kids enjoyed a giant sandbox, face painting, treasure hunts, tie dying and lots of other activities.
