Teachers Celebrate Alpha Delta Kappa Month

Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary sorority for women educators. There are more than 1,200 chapters in the United States.
To note Alpha Delta Kappa Month, members of Alpha Delta Kappa-Alpha Upsilon Chapter in Harrison County donated volunteer hours at schools and left treats - such as muffins, donuts and candy baskets - for teachers.
To encourage reading, some teachers read books to students plus distributed books - which had been donated by a member of the sorority - to Halloween trick or treaters.
