Always eager to help families of Harrison County, the Harrison County Board of Education will be encouraging students and faculty throughout the county to participate in Justin Bishop Hat Day on Friday, October 27.

 

Bishop, a graduate of Lincoln High School and youth coach in Bridgeport was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, requiring extensive and aggressive treatment. 

 

To help offset the medical costs his family will endure, the Harrison County Board of Education is asking students and faculty to wear hats to school on Friday and donate $1 each.

 

The money will be turned in to each school secretary on Friday and be collected from each school on October 30 and 31.  The money will be presented to the Bishop Family at the Nov. 3 Bridgeport High School vs. Lincoln High School game.
