Key Club Hosting Yard Sale, Bake Sale and Car Wash Saturday

Although the end of the school year is near, the students in the Bridgeport High School Key Club are gearing up for their International Convention, which will be held in Indianapolis in July. The conference is held for Key Club members all over the world and stresses the importance of teamwork, leadership and community service.
In order to fund the trip, the BHS Key Club will be hosting a car wash, bake sale and yard sale at BHS 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16. The proceeds will help with registration and costs associated with attending the convention.
Key Club is the world’s largest student led community service organization, boasting nearly 260,000 students. Known for service projects with Unicef, March of Dimes and Children’s Miracle Network, the group also has a substantial impact on the local community. BHS Key Clubbers spend each Wednesday volunteering with the residents of Meadowview Manor and are actively involved with the Kiwanis Club.
hopefully this will not effect the parking at the city park like the other nights event did
