Frankie's Furry Friends: Today's Featured Adoptable Pet is "Peanut"

By Frankie Michelle Dennison on October 12, 2018 from Frankie's Furry Friends via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Here is today's edition of the Humane Society of Harrison County focus on adoptable pets.

Today's featured pet is Peanut, a 12-year-old male Shihtzu/Corgi mix. Peanut weighs 46 pounds, is neutered and up to date on de-wormer, 5Way and Rabies vaccines. Peanut was originally adopted from the Humane Society of Harrison County in 2008 and was returned this week when his owner passed away.

He's very friendly and has an outgoing personality and would make an excellent family dog. Don't let his age fool you. He loves life.

Peanut is available for five-day foster trial or immediate adoption. Adoption fee is $95. This handsome guy won't last long.

The Humane Society of Harrison County is located at 2450 Saltwell Road in Shinnston. The facility is open 10:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. every day of the week. Call the HSHC at 304-592-1600.
