By Dick Duez on February 18, 2018 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This trio qualified for the West Virginia State Wrestling Tournament back in 1980. Pictured, from left, are Jeff Bennett who wrestled at 112 pounds, J.K. Alfred who wrestled at 155 and Tom Wilhelm, who wreslted at 167. The team was coached by Richard Iaquinta that season.
Many from Bridgeport and the entire region visited Wheeling to take part in a concert at the legendary Capitol Music Hall. In this photo, believed to be from 1975, a long line is in place as country music legend Charley Pride was scheduled to perform.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard
