Time Travel: Bridgeport's Green Acres and 50 Year Rewind with Harrison County Emergency Squad

By Dick Duez on February 26, 2017 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Today, it's the home to Via Veneto, but for many years it was "Green Acres." It was the spot to be in Bridgeport and for many well beyond Bridgeport. For those that have fond memories of the place, please feel free to comment in the comment section below.
This photo, believed to be from 1967, is are those involved with the Harrison County Emergency Squad. The photo is in the area where Raymon's is located in Clarksburg today. Anyone remember this?

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dick.do@frontier.com.
