Time Travel: Going Back to the Days of Medbrook and a 1964 Christmas Day Parade in Buckhannon

By Dick Duez on April 02, 2017 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

At one time, when you mentioned quick medical care the only name out there was Medbrook. This photo, from the 1997 Ki-Cu-Wa Yearbook, shows the staff taking a break from their patients, From left, are Dr. Brad Hall, Dr. Kelly Nelson, Dr. J.D. Bailey, and Dr. Robert Bowers.
Christmas Day parades have been taking place for decades across the country and Buckhannon is no different. Here's a photo more than 50 years ago - 1964 to be exact - of the parade in that city's downtown.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection.
