Time Travel: Looking Back at Pure Food's Final Stop in the City and a Train Travel in Middle of St. Marys

By Dick Duez on March 18, 2018 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

this was the final stop for Bridgeport's iconic "Pure Food" store that did business in several locations throughout the city. This location, on the corner of Water Street and Virginia Avenue, is today the home of the Hot Rod Shop.
This was once a common sight throughout West Virginia and cities all across the country, but is virtually extinct today. This shows a train going down the heart of St. Marys many decades ago.
