Time Travel: School Spirit with the 1992 BHS Cheer Squad and Well-Known Taylor County Restaurant

Do you recognize anyone here? This is the 1992 Bridgeport High School varsity cheerleading squad. The members are front row, from left, Heather Frum, Alicia Mount, Vanessa Ridenour, and Beth Votaw. Second row, from left, are Paige Skidmore, Tressa DePolo, Shelley Mazzie, Sudeana Benson, and Maria Caputo. Back row, from left, Wendy Cromwell, Gina Guzzi, and Jenny Conley.
This photo from many decadaes ago of or the Cozy Restaurant and Cottages east of Bridgeport and just four miles West of Grafton in Taylor County. It was near the U.S. Route 50 and 250 intersection. Bill Hood of Bridgeport may have been the owner, although that is not a certainty.
Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard
"Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dick.do@frontier.com.
