Recognize some of the young men that made up the 2000 Bridgeport High School freshman football team? This group played the year that the varsity squad, then coached by Bruce Carey, won the Class AA state championship against Wayne. Coach Jon Griffith was still involved with the football program at that time as well and has since captured several state titles as the boys track and cross country coach.
