Attention High School Seniors: FAFSA Frenzy at Fairmont State's Caperton Center Set for Feb. 19

A FAFSA Frenzy will be held at Fairmont State University’s Caperton Center from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19.
High school seniors and/or parents are invited to come, bring their financial information and receive free help in submitting their Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
The FAFSA must be submitted before March 1. It is the first step to receive any kind of federal or state level financial aid (including Promise Scholarship).
As of mid-February, 53 percent of Bridgeport High School seniors have successfully submitted their FAFSAs, said BHS Junior/Senior Counselor Jane Byrd.
