He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Booher) Paul, whom he married September 4, 1976. Also surviving are three children, Darrin Alan Paul and his wife Cynthia Ann, Fairmont, WV; Travis Edward Paul, Bridgeport, WV; and Lori Anne Travelstead and her husband Jamey, Salem, WV; and seven grandchildren, Abigail, Emma, Bryson, Braden, Aubrey, Roy and Tyler. Three brothers, Richard Paul, Duncansville, PA; Charles Paul, Carrollton, VA; John Paul and his wife Melodie, Claysburg, PA; a sister, Nancy Civils and her husband Steve, Curwensville, PA; and many loving nieces and nephews complete his family.

Dennis graduated from Smeal College of Business of Penn State University in 1974. While at Penn State he was on the wrestling team and was involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. He retired after 42 years of combine service with Consolidated Natural Gas, Dominion, and DSD Laboratories.

His passion was his children and grandchildren. He extended this passion to local youth sports, where he started the Bridgeport Softball League, led the building of the Bridgeport High School track, and was active as a coach in youth soccer, baseball, softball, and wrestling. He enjoyed following Penn State football and wrestling.

Denny loved his grandchildren and their school. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Heritage Christian School, 225 Newton Avenue, Bridgeport, WV 26330 or www.hcswv.org/Ways-to-Give.

Services will be held at Good Funeral Home, Altoona, PA, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 12 Noon, with interment in Alto Reste Cemetery.
