City Faces in Different Places

By Julie Perine on October 06, 2019 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Meet this week’s City Face and soccer mom, Stacey Randolph.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? If not a lifelong resident, tell me what brought you here.
We moved to Bridgeport four years ago so our daughters could attend middle school and high school here.

Are you married, have kids? Tell me about your family.
I have been married to my husband Ed for 17 years and we have two daughters, Mackenzie, a junior at Bridgeport High School, and Brooklyn, an 8th grader at Bridgeport Middle School.

What about pets?
We have an Australian Blue Heeler named Echo and two cats named Taco and Katniss.

Where do you work and what do you do there?
I work for American Destinations, Inc. I plan tours and trips for groups all over the U.S., such as the recent BMS 8th grade trip.

What are your hobbies/favorite past times?
I love to read, but my favorite thing to do is watch my daughters play soccer!

Favorite Bridgeport spot?
My house lol! I love to entertain and have people over for dinner and game nights.

Why do you like about Bridgeport … why is this a good place to live?
It’s the sense of community. Everyone works together to make Bridgeport the best it can be.

One – or more – of your favorite memories of something that took place in Bridgeport ...
My answer goes along with the previous question. I love going to the football games and if I can’t make it, I can hear the game from my backyard. I really enjoy the Homecoming Parade and Light Up Night. Living in Bridgeport reminds me of a Hallmark movie.

What is your favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?
Dolly Sods, especially in the fall.

How about your favorite place outside of WV?
Anywhere I can put my toes in the sand!

What are some of your favorite things? Food/restaurant? Favorite color? Music genre/artist?
My favorite restaurants at the moment are Mia Margherita and Twin Oaks. My favorite color is pink. I enjoy all types of music, but right now, I find myself listening to ‘90s boy bands on Pandora.

What is your best childhood memory?
My best childhood memories are holidays at my grandparents’ house. I’m a family girl and cherish any time I get to spend with everyone together.

Interesting fact about you and/or something you would like to add…
I was actually on MTV’s “Total Request Live” as a guest VJ for five days. I had the opportunity to hang out with celebrities and made lots of memories that I will never forget.
