City Fire Department Responds to Early Morning I-79 Single-Vehicle Wreck that Send One Person to UHC

One person was taken to the hospital in a crash on Interstate 79 shutting down part of the highway near mile marker 129. The interstate has since reopened.
According to 911 officials the accident happened at around 12:15 a.m. early Wednesday morning and shut down both southbound lanes on Interstate 79.
The accident involved one vehicle and sent one person to the United Hospital Center.
Multiple units responded to the scene including Bridgeport Fire Department, Bridgeport EMS and the Harrison Sheriff's Department which is investigating the incident.
