Driver Hits Utility Pole in Anmoore; Power Outage, Road Closure Results

One man refused EMS treatment after driving his truck into a utility pole on Anmoore Road just after 8 a.m. Friday. He was later taken to UHC by family. Responders believe speed was a factor.
According to officials, one pole was knocked down and two others damaged, leaving nearly 300 residents without power. The road is expected to open soon and and power to be restored later today. For more information and updates, visit WDTV HERE.
