Early Morning Fire Destroys Harrison County Home

According to this report from WDTV, a home was destroyed after an early morning fire in Lumberport.
According to officials on scene, residents were home at the time the blaze started. They say they heard a loud crack and then smelled smoke.
Officials say lightning could have caused sparked the fire. Residents were able to make it out of the home safely.
The home is ruled a total loss.
