Harrison, Several Other Counties Under Winter Weather Advisory; Up to Four Inches of Snow, Hazardous Road Conditions, Expected

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday with snow accumulation of two to four inches expected. Additional accumulation is projected for mountain areas.
 
Counties under the weather advisory are Barbour; Braxton; Calhoun; Doddridge; Gilmer; Harrison; Jackson; Lewis; Northwest Randolph; Northwest Webster; Pleasants; Ritchie; Roane; Taylor; Tyler; Upshur; Wirt and Wood.
 
Snow will redevelop area wide Saturday night, with sleet and freezing rain across West Virginia.
 
Temperatures will remain in the 20s and 30s, reaching as high as 39 degrees Sunday and dipping to as low as 22 degrees Friday night.
 
A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow-covered roads, slippery travel conditions and limited visibilities. It is likely that some isolated power outages will result.
