This is the most frustrating road situation in the city for me. It seems like Johnson Avenue is the street with the most need for Paving in the City of Bridgeport. It has been a mess for 3-4 years now. You would think that the state would have had this street at the top of its list for paving last year and would have made sure the paperwork was completed properly. Quite frankly I am tired of the excuses. It's time for the state to figure out how to fill out the paperwork properly so we can get the road paved. Very frustrating.

If this is only $200,000, why is it not getting done? Surely the DOH can go ahead and pave it and then get reimbursed by the Feds if need be, or lets take up a collection and just get it paved. For a project that small, the DOH shouldn't even need to worry about matching Federal funds.
