Philippi Man Arrested on Arson Charges, Incident Connected to Hit and Run which Killed Teen

Authorities at the State Fire Marshal's office have confirmed that the arson arrest made Monday is connected to Saturday's deadly hit and run incident on Spall Lick Road in Barbour County which resulted in the death of a 16-year-old.
Gordon Barlow was arrested and charged with two counts of arson. It is believed that the fires were set in retaliation to the death of Barlow's son.
Barlow was taken to the Tygart Regional Jail. Read more at WDTV HERE.
