Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the SUV located in these photos. Wednesday evening, the SUV struck a city light pole in front of Third Millennium Marketing – located across West Main Street from Benedum Civic Center. The impact caused substantial damage to the light pole and the vehicle. The accident occurred at 10:17 p.m. Wed., Oct. 10. The driver of the vehicle left the scene without alerting authorities.
