On Tuesday, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) spoke with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray to encourage him to make additional investments in the FBI Center in Clarksburg that would bring additional jobs to the state.

“(Tuesday) I spoke with Director Wray on ways the FBI can expand their investment and footprint at the FBI Center in Clarksburg. During our discussion, I expressed my support for the FBI’s proposal to relocate staff to the FBI Center in Clarksburg. This center provides jobs to West Virginians and promotes economic growth in our state and I’m confident that an expansion of our existing facility is in the best interest of the FBI and our country,” Senator Manchin said.
