By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on January 13, 2018 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Thanks to our friends at the City of Clarksburg and Marketing and Community Relations Specialist Dominique Medina Spatafore, Connect-Bridgeport will occasionally run photos from the City of Clarksburg's Web site for the restoration of the old Robinson Grand that will soon open as the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center. The Web site is "therobinsongrand.com" and is hyperlinked below.

This week's snapshot comes from 1987. It is a signed photo of the American country group "Girls Next Door". They were formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1982 and disbanded in 1991. The group consisted of Doris King, Cindy Nixon, Diane Williams, and Tammy Stephens. They recorded three albums and had nine singles on the US country charts.
