The pages of the newest issue of WV Weddings capture the nuptials of couples from Bridgeport and surrounding areas.

The very first wedding in the wedding registry is Bridgeport High School alumna Natalie Reid Aliff and her husband Brendan Patrick Foley. The couple married Aug. 5, 2017 at Swift Level Farm in Lewisburg. The bride was adorned in a lace gown with chapel-length veil. She was escorted by her dad, Bill Aliff, to the tune of "Simple Gifts," a song synonymous with West Virginia University, from where Aliff graduated.  WVU is also where her grandfather, the late Frank "Doc" Stevens, served as announcer for WVU Athletics and the WVU Marching Band. A friend from Aliff's stomping grounds at Maple Lake, Greg Harrison, along with his band members, provided music. Others from Bridgeport who took part in the ceremony were officiant, Dr. Ken Ramsey of Bridgeport United Methodist Church; caterer, Hash Browns & New Grounds and DJ Ed Morrison.

Both from Clarksburg, Angelina Dominica Nicole Angotti and Joshua Robert Zontek, married July 15, 2017, at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. The bride were a strapless Oscar de la Renta in ivory, with a lace Vera Wang overlay. She was escorted by her father as "Canon in D" was played by the groom's cousin on piano. The wedding cake and the groom's cake was made by Torchia's Italian Pastries of Bridgeport. The reception concluded with wedding guests making a circle as the band played "Take Me Home, Country Roads." The bride's parents are Cindy and Frank Angotti. The groom's parents are Debbie and Mike Mann.

Almost Heaven Desserts was the place where Quinn Laroux Edgell - owner of vintage clothing and accessory business, Feathered, first met Waylon Keith Miller. The bride's dress was a vintage-inspired Wtoo by Watters Elise gown, featuring tiered cupcake layers of eyelash lace. The couple's wedding cake was made by Bake N Memories of Bridgeport and makeup was done by Riversong Spa. The Millers' wedding was a West Virginia Wedding Editor's Pick and a feature story about them and their wedding is included in the issue. The story was penned by Demi Fuentes Ramirez and includes wedding photos by Brittany Anderson Photography.
