Team Mia Margherita Finishes WV Cast Iron Cook-Off with Pair of Awards

Led by Chef Pamela Stevens, the Mia Margherita Cast Iron Cook-Off Team walked away from Saturday's statewide competition with the coveted People's Choice Award. The team also won Best Single Dish for Buckwheat Ravioli with Morel Mushroom Sauce, as prepared by Rick Johnson and his assistant Kelley Wagner, a ProStart student from Tucker County High School. The teams menu also featured Appalachian Trout Carpaccio, Charcoal Roasted Pork Chop and Piccoli Dolci.
The 10th Annual West Virginia Cast Iron Cook-Off was held at the Charleston Marriott. More information and photos to come.
