Vehicle Strikes Wall on Interstate; Northbound Lanes Temporarily Blocked

Bridgeport Police, Fire and Emergency Services responded to a 9 a.m. accident on I-79, near the 120 mile marker, just south of the Meadowbrook Mall exit.
The incident involved one vehicle, a Kia Soul. The Kia was traveling north when it struck a cement wall, resulting in substantial front-end damage. Two northbound lanes were temporary blocked. The vehicle was removed from the scene from Dan Riggs Towing.
No hospital transports resulted. Bridgeport Police are investigating the accident.
