West Virginia Native, U.S. Medal of Honor Recipient "Woody" Williams Flips Coin at Super Bowl 52

West Virginia's only living U.S. medal of honor recipient flipped the coin at Super Bowl 52 Sunday, Feb. 4. 
 
Hershel "Woody" Williams, who was born in 1923 on a dairy farm in Quiet Dell (a small community in Marion County near Fairmont), is one of 15 medal of honor recipients who was honored before Sunday's game. The former U.S. marine earned the honor for his heroism during the battle of Iwo Jima.
