Hot off the press is Bridgeport Parks and Recreation's 2015 Fall & Holiday Activity Guide.
Jam packed with activities - from youth basketball, wrestling and karate to adult craft classes and civic clubs - the publication is an all-inclusive recreational guide to what's going on in and around the city.
"We do it in calendar format so hopefully families will stick it up on the fridge," said Parks and Recreation Deputy Director Joe Shuttleworth. "It also includes events like our Hay Bales and Tall Tales and holiday information, including trick or treat, parades and Light Up Night."
Printed copies will available the week of Aug. 24 at Benedum Civic Center and will also be distributed in Bridgeport schools.
Currently underway is registration for Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Fast Break Basketball League for middle school and high school students. Learn more about that league, play which runs late- September through early-November, HERE.
