Process to Find New Bridgeport CVB Director is Underway

With the recent resignation of Tim Brady from the Executive Director’s position of the Greater Bridgeport Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, the CVB’s Board of Directors will now begin the task of finding a replacement.
Although a timetable has not been set for filling the position, individuals can apply for the job. Currently, the position is posted on the Connect-Bridgeport Web site. It can be found by clicking here. Board Chairman Drew Pomeroy also anticipates advertising the post in statewide, regional and perhaps national publications, many with direct ties to tourism and advertising.
“It is an exciting time for our CVB. We have multiple projects that are being talked about on a regional level, I know the future is bright,” Pomeroy said. “We are not in a huge rush to fill the position, but have begun the search process. I encourage anybody interested to email resume@greater-bridgeport.com. I anticipate that this position will be fairly coveted.”
Brady leaves after four years of heading up the CVB. He will assume the position of Vice President of Sales with the Charleston CVB Monday.
