BHS Danceline Hosting Bridgeport Dance Star Clinic, Performance and Competition

The first Bridgeport Dance Star Clinic, Performance & Competition is your child’s chance to be a dancing star. To be held 5-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 at the Bridgeport High School gymnasium, the event is sponsored by the BHS Danceline.
 
After learning dance moves from members of the danceline, young dance participants will be featured in the halftime performance of the Jan. 24 BHS vs. Elkins boys’ varsity basketball game. Dancers will also have the chance to win a dance competition by public vote. Voting will take place in the cafeteria after the halftime performance. Each vote is $1 and multiple votes are allowed. The winner will be announced between the third and fourth quarter. He or she will have the privilege of escorting the BHS Danceline in the 2019 BHS Homecoming parade.
 
The clinic is for kids ages 4-11 and includes three hours of instruction and fun, pizza dinner, free entry to the Jan. 24 basketball game and a T-shirt to be worn during the halftime performance. Cost is $40.
