It wasn't necessarily wasn't the result Bridgeport was seeking as it dropped a contest Friday and another one Saturday to the McDowell Trojans out out of Erie, Pa. The talented Trojans, who were able to take a pair of wins last year against BHS,  managed two more this year.

 

On Saturday, Erie won by a 14-4  score as the Indians fell to 7-3. The late game Saturday between the Class AA No. 1 Indians and No. 2 Falcons of Frankfort was called in the first with BHS leading 1-0 due to rain.

 

However, the Tribe managed to make ESPN. During the game with McDowell, senior J.T. Harris hit a rope off of the Trojans' starting pitcher only to see it snagged in a microsecond by the pitcher.
