Bowen, Holloway to Get Final High School Contest as Pair Named to 2019 North-South Football Classic

Bridgeport High School, Harrison County and the Big 10 Conference will be well represented at the annual North-South All-Star Football 
Classic scheduled for June 8.

The game will be held at South Charleston High School's Black Eagle Stadium.This will mark the second straight year the game will be played at South Charleston High School's football complex.
Bridgeport will have standouts Jake Bowen and D'Andre Holloway on the North roster. Both are versatile two way players with Holloway a threat at wide receiver and defensive back and Bowen dangerous in the backfield and also at defensive back.
Bowen also played linebacker for the Indians along with finishing his senior year becoming the all-time leading rusher in Bridgeport High School history.
As for other locals, the coaching staff is all Big 10 and Harrison County. A.J. Harman of Liberty will coach the North Bears. He will be assisted by Mickey Foley of Grafton, Fairmont Senior's Mark Sampson and Robert C. Byrd's Teague Wagner.
As for other locals that will be participating in the game, Austin Storey and Daniel Romans of Elkins will both be on 
the squad. Class AA state champion Fairmont Senior will have Connor Neal, Exavier Poasey and Rhett Heston. Grafton's Caleb Bish will also be on the squad.

Harman will get to coach his seniors Jaden Rollyson and Seth McKinney. Lincoln's Hunter Moore and Lewis County Ryan Metzgar are also on the squad.
Desmond Fluharty will represent North Marion in the game.
Robert C. Byrd's standout linemen Jaden Marino and Robert Arnold will also participate.
The contest is scheduled for noon.
