Bridgeport Volleyball Loses in Class AA Semis; Win by Oak Glen Ends Indians' Season

The Bridgeport High School volleyball team lost to Oak Glen in Friday evening's WVSSAC Class AA semifinals at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Oak Glen defeated the Tribe - defending AA champs - 25-19, 25-9 and 25-21.
BHS won three out of four sets against Point Pleasant this morning, thereafter advancing to this evening's semifinals. After losing the first set 17-25, the Lady Indians buckled down, capturing victories in the next three sets: 25-23, 25-17 and 25-20.
Oak Glen advances to Saturday's finals.
