Bridgeport's strong start to the 2019 football season continued Friday evening as the Indians managed to get past Harrison County and Big 10 foe Liberty by a 35-7 score in Clarksburg at John Mazzei-James L. Reaser Field.
 
The win moves the Tribe to 3-0 on the year. The Mountaineers, suffering their first loss, fall to 2-1.
 
BHS is back in action in a Thursday night contest as it will face undefeated defending Class AA champion Fairmont Senior at Wayne Jamison Field. Liberty will play host to Philip Barbour on Friday.
 
Both games start at 7 p.m.
