Indians, Parkersburg South Meet in Final Preseason Grid Scrimmage

Bridgeport and Parkersburg South met this evening in the final scrimmage for both teams of the 2012 prep football preaseaon. Bridgeport
will officially kick off the season this coming Friday when they play host to Buckhannon-Upshur at Wayne Jamison Field.

A relatively small crowd was on hand to watch the two teams square off in the cool temperatures and light rain. The action got underway at roughly 6:30 p.m. Also, the new scoreboard had a mini test run and school officials are hopeful that it may see some action during girls season-opening soccer action tomorrow.
