By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on August 11, 2017 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Bridgeport High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Matt DeMotto has information regarding Saturday’s scrimmages with the Indians girls’ soccer team and the football team.

The girls will be scrimmaging at 5 p.m. against Elkins and Parkersburg South. The football team scrimmages at 10 a.m. against Morgantown.

According to DeMotto, the front parking lot in front of Wayne Jamison Field will not be available for parking. Anyone needing to park can find accommodations at Bridgeport City Park, behind the high school or in front of the high school.

Access to the field can be done in two manners. One way will be to enter on the visitors’ side of the stadium through the visitors’ ticket box area. The other is across the walking bridge at Bridgeport City Park.

There will be no concessions available at the concession stand as DeMotto said it is currently without power and hot water due to the ongoing construction project for the new Johnson Elementary School. He said those attending are welcome to bring a cooler with water and items to eat.

Restrooms will also not be available as that project has not yet reached completion. DeMotto said restrooms will be open for both scrimmages at Bridgeport City Park.
