Little Indians PeeWee Red Squad Caps Second Year with Perfect Mark to Win League Championship

The Bridgeport youth football teams capped off another successful season for 2017.  For the second season in a row, the Bridgeport Little Indians PeeWee Red team finished the regular season and playoff games with an undefeated record as they entered Championship Sunday.
November 12, 2017 was the Mountaineer Youth Football Conference (MYF) Championship Sunday, and games were held at Lincoln High School’s Stydahar Field in Shinnston.  The PeeWee Division Championship game consisted of the top ranked Bridgeport PeeWee Red facing off against West Fairmont’s PeeWee team, as Bridgeport’s PeeWee Red would be defending its MYF PeeWee Division Title.
The title game saw Bridgeport PeeWee Red come away with a 32-12 victory and win the 2017 MYF PeeWee Division Championship.  Bridgeport PeeWee Red finished the season with a record of 12-0.
The MYF PeeWee Division consists of players ages 8, 9, and 10 (10 if under 90 pounds) making up 19 teams throughout North Central and Central West Virginia, with the top eight teams advancing to the playoff rounds.
Bridgeport PeeWee Red is coached by Head Coach Chad Reppert, along with assistants: Chris Culicerto, Jim Evans, Bob West, Roy Hall, Corey Yates, Bud Baun, John Julian and Dan Avolio.
Players for the 2016 Champion PeeWee Red are: Vaughan Evans, Kambryn Reppert, Jax McDougal, Justin Duvall, Donovan Williams, Rodney Riffle, Jackson Stark, James Hadjis, Mason Lewis, Isaiah Greathouse, Phoenix Sickles, Kasen Baun, Noah West, Braedyn Yates, Anderson McDougal, Giovanni Pucillo, Harrison Hall, Lucca Ford, Guy Avolio, Tristin Noble, Gavin Ramsey, Isaiah Noonan, Brilyn Ford-Parker, Anthony Julian, Christian Farley, Dayne Murphy, Grayson Church, Timothy Leary, Alastair Grayson, Sawyer Culicerto.
