Bridgeport and Herbert Hoover met for the first of a three game series for a chance to go to the state tournament Tuesday evening in Bridgeport. Herbert Hoover blanked Bridgeport with a final score of 8-0. Game two of the three game series is scheduled for Wednesday at Herbert Hoover.
