Tribe, RCB Boys Hoops Contest Saturday Postponed

For those looking forward to the scheduled Saturday Harrison County and Big 10 matchup between Bridgeport and Robert C. Byrd in Clarksburg, they're going to have to wait at least another week.
Bridgeport High School Principal Matt DeMotto has informed Connect-Bridgeport that the scheduled matchup between the Indians and 
Eagles has been rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 19.

DeMotto said the times will remain the same. The junior varsity contest will start at 5:45 p.m. with the varsity game set to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
According to DeMotto, the reason for the game being postponed is the winter weather advisory for the area that has been announced. The advisory goes into place at 7 a.m. Saturday.
Bridgeport Coach Mike Robey, whose team has been playing strong, is upset about the postponement.
"I’m extremely disappointed we’re not playng Saturday night," said Robey. "We’re finally at the point in the last six quarters of play of getting thing going in the direction we like and now we can't try and take advantage of that."
The Indians are currently 7-1 on the year. The Eagles are 6-3.
